The latest chapter in Ulli Lommel’s cult horror franchise gets its first teaser and poster.
If there’s one idea we’ve tried to impart for the last year here at ZH, it’s good, honest criticism. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Unlike so many of our contemporaries, our work isn’t driven by freebies, screener hoarding or hyperbolic, fame-chasing quotes slapped top and tail across some awful dreck’s DVD case. Simply, we write because we want to engage, inform, entertain and point you guys towards the things we genuinely believe are worth your time. You’ll find no conflicts of interests on this site, you know?
But that doesn’t mean we’re completely averse to shilling once in a while. After all, if we don’t toot certain horns, no-one else will, right? And as – we hope – your online resource for all that’s schlocky, overlooked and ludicrously left of field, it’d be wrong of us not to tout the latest project from art-trash supremo Ulli Lommel, even if it was written by a pal. One of Zombie Hamster’s own, in fact; our dear leader-at-large, Colin McCracken, co-penning its screenplay…
Of course, that’s not the only reason why we’re pretty excited to see BOOGEYMAN REINCARNATION. If you’ve already watched the bonkers, Jodorowsky-meets-H.G. Lewis-style teaser featured above, it’s screamingly obvious that what we’ve got coming is a deliciously kooky blast; Lommel’s fourth, long-awaited chapter in his crackpot Boogeyman legacy looking as much a rollicking, B-pic scareshow as his original 1980 horror hit.

This year, The Boogeyman returns in Ulli Lommel’s BOOGEYMAN REINCARNATION. Featuring an exciting cast of new talent, along with genre stalwarts Laurence R. Harvey and Tristan Risk, the movie was shot in a range of amazing locations across the world.
Prepare for an exercise in extreme terror as Lommel brings the fear to the forefront one more time!
